Well-child visits are essential to ensure your child grows up healthy and happy. During these checkups, I evaluate physical, emotional, and social development—making sure each milestone is reached appropriately.

I also provide families with personalized guidance on nutrition, vaccinations, and disease prevention. I care for both residents of Nicoya and Guanacaste, as well as tourists seeking pediatric follow-up during their stay.

Growth and Development Evaluation

In each visit, I measure weight, height, and head circumference, and assess the child’s psychomotor development. These evaluations help ensure the child is growing as expected for their age.

This allows us to detect early any situation that may require follow-up or specialist care.

Vaccine Administration

I review the child’s vaccination schedule and administer the appropriate vaccines based on age and official guidelines. Vaccines are a key tool in protecting your child from preventable diseases. I explain the purpose of each vaccine, its safety, and answer all your questions.

Health Issue Detection

At every checkup, I make sure to identify any signs of potential health concerns. Observing physical, behavioral, and emotional aspects allows me to take timely action and provide appropriate treatment or specialist referral.
