As a pediatrician committed to children’s well-being in Nicoya and all of Guanacaste, I provide complete consultations for children and adolescents—from newborns up to 15 years old.

I attend to both resident families and tourists who require medical care during their stay.

Each consultation focuses on growth, development, and the overall health of the child. I offer a warm, personalized, and bilingual service tailored to each family’s needs.

Growth Monitoring

During every pediatric consultation, I track the child’s weight, height, and general growth. I compare these measurements to age- and gender-specific standards to ensure proper development.

This monitoring is essential to detect and prevent growth issues early on.

Developmental Evaluation

I carefully observe and assess motor, cognitive, and language skills to ensure the child is meeting developmental milestones. If reinforcement or further support is needed, I guide the family through the next steps. My goal is to support every child’s healthy and full development.

I verify the child’s vaccination schedule and, if needed, administer the appropriate vaccines to keep them protected.

Parental Guidance

During the consultation, I offer practical and up-to-date advice on nutrition, sleep, emotional development, and disease prevention. I listen to parents’ questions and concerns and provide clear guidance to support their child’s health—whether they live in the region or are visiting.

Health Issue Detection

I focus on identifying early signs of illness or health conditions. This allows for timely treatment or referral to a pediatric specialist if necessary.
